What Information Do We Collect?


Personally Identifiable Information

In the course of using MarketCop, we may ask you to provide us with, or grant us access to, or permission to obtain, certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, and billing or shipping address information (your "Personal Information").

We collect Personal Information in connection with your registration to join MarketCop, and to take part in certain Services.

We also use your Personal Information to contact you with MarketCop newsletters, email updates, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. When you visit the Site or App, regardless of whether you are a Registered User or a non-registered visitor, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends about your visit ("Log Data"). Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, or the webpage you were visiting before you came to our Site, pages of our Site that you visit, the time spent on those pages, information you search for on our Site or App, access times and dates, and other statistics. We use this information to monitor and analyse use of the App and its technical administration, to increase MarketCop’s functionality and user-friendliness, and to better tailor it to our visitors' needs. For example, some of this information is collected so that when you visit our Site or App again, it will recognise you and serve information appropriate to your interests. Mobile Data

When you download, install, and use our App, we may automatically collect information on the type of mobile device you use, its operating system version, and your device’s unique device identifier. We use this information to understand the functionality of our App on certain devices, keep track of when and how often Registered Users use the App, keep track of events and transactions that take place through the App, and to collect performance and usage data about the App. We may also use your mobile data in order to send push notifications from to time to time in order to update you about any events or promotions, your activity on MarketCop, or changes to our Terms, including this Privacy Policy. If you choose not to receive these types of communications, you may disable notifications from the MarketCop App on your mobile device. We do not treat Mobile Data as Personal Information, though we may aggregate, analyse and evaluate such information for the same purposes as stated above regarding other Non-Identifying Information.



Like many website operators, we use "cookies" to collect information. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your device's hard disk for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies for two purposes. First, we utilise persistent cookies to save your registration ID and login password for future logins to the Site. MarketCop cooperates with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law.
